Mount Ichkeul (511 metres), near Bizerte, is not only a unique natural site for walking and hiking, but it also hides a big cave.
One of the entrances to the cave is via a 32-metre chimney that you can abseil down!
Here’s an experience to be savoured with a Tunis caving association after a splendid hike above Lake Ichkeul.
Ichkeul Park, encompassing the lake and the mountain, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Natural Site.
