Still dominated by Iberostar Royal El Mansour and Dar El Jeld, this quarter’s ranking reflects the last guests’ reviews before the halt caused by the Covid-19 crisis.
With a month of March cut short because of international tourists’ departure and lockdown measures taken in Tunisia on March 22nd, guests’ reviewals are fewer than usual.
Therefore, only hotels with at least 50 marks given online by customers in the past three months (according to our ReviewPro partner - read more) are taken into account in our ranking.
Thus, as Sensimar Scheherazade (Sousse) closed and Iberostar Selection Diar El Andalous (Port El Kantaoui) dropped in the ranking, The Residence Tunis hotel (Gammarth) recovered the third position.
Two 4-star hotels dramatically moved up into the Top 25: Hari Club Beach Resort (Djerba) ranks 9th and Odyssée Resort Thalasso & Spa Zarzis ranks 11th.
Better scores were registered by Anantara Tozeur Resort (rising from 16th to 4th position), La Villa Bleue (Sidi Bou Saïd) and Iberostar Selection Kuriat Palace (Monastir).
Thumbs up to hotels who took good care of their guests all the way to the end. Thanks to them, people will bear through these tough times with the unforgettable memories of their holidays.
We also pay tribute to hotels that demonstrated responsibility by encouraging their guests to leave before borders closed, although some of them wanted to extend their stay.
Thus, they helped to ensure that all international tourists in Tunisia reached home in time and under good conditions.
